Police departments across the states have made headlines for quite some time now, over the killing and excessive force used on black citizens. They even caught the attention of former 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick.

Kaerpernick ,emotionally affected by the injustice took to his platform to make a stance. His peaceful protest of sitting during the national anthem before his games, made a lot of noise in the NFL. He did receive some support in his stance for action from other players, but a lot of backlash from fans, analysts, and higher ups in the NFL. It is believed that he is being blackballed by the league and has yet to find a team.

But, did his peaceful protest work though? A group of NYPD officers active and non active took to the streets of Brooklyn to show their support for Kaepernick wearing black shirt that said “#ImwithKap”. The police officers rallied to get Kaepernick another job in the NFL.

Is it Kaepernick’s role to use his platform to make a stance?
Are the cops in the right or the wrong for their rally?
Are you with Kap?
